Conseils d'utilisation
Skin disorders :
Apply some drops onto the damaged or infected skin, in its pure state (if small area) or mixed with vegetable oil (if large area).

Acne (clay mask):
Massage: 5 drops of tea-tree EO + 5 drops of palmarosa EO in 5ml of apricot kernel vegetable oil with water to make a creamy clay mixture. 1 mask per week.

Capillary mask against lice (also see lavender).

Lice - “shock” making!
Apply 25 drops of tea-tree mixed with 25 drops of lavender in 100ml of sweet almond oil. Put half of the mixture on to wet hair just before shampooing then comb through. Put the rest of the mixture onto the scalp. Comb again section by section, from the scalp to the ends of your hair from the forehead to the neck. Cover the hair with cling film and leave in place for 2 hours. Rinse, shampoo twice and then rinse well again. Use the anti-lice comb once more to be certain all lice have gone. Repeat this 7 days later to make sure any lice have not reappeared.

Other very good uses :
Urinary infections: cystitis
Respiratory infections: tonsillitis, bronchitis, whooping cough and other coughs, flu, otitis, nasopharyngitis, sinusitis
Sensitivity to the cold, haemorrhoids

Infections and general problems (all) :
Apply 2-4 drops on the affected organ (throat, chest, around the ears, sinuses, around the bladder, etc...) or 5 drops diluted in a tablespoon of vegetable oil for a larger area or as a massage along the spine (anti-tiredness).
Bath : 10 drops of tea-tree for 2 tablespoons of a base or milk for a bath.
Put 2 pure drops under the tongue or diluted with olive oil or honey on a sugar cube or a neutral tablet. 1, 2 or 3 times per day according to your needs.
Inhale some drops from disposable tissue, preferably after respiratory tracts have been cleaned with sea water.

Other use :
Tea-tree is an excellent disinfectant and home deodorant.

The recipe:
In an opaque glass bottle (preferably brown), mix 1 teaspoon of tea-tree, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of pine and 4 teaspoons of lemon. Mix well before putting a few drops onto a sponge or pour directly onto the area (siphon, toilet bowl...). For a stronger “deodorising” effect, fill a small spray bottle with household alcohol (you can find this in the litre in supermarkets, it also works well with white alcohol vinegar) and add a few drops of the essential oils mixture and spray in the room.

Contraindication :
You can apply the oil in its pure state onto skin as long as it is on a small area and is not repeated too often for a long time. 2 pure drops 2-3 times per day for 3 days: it is the maximum!

Like all essential oils the tea-tree oil is not allowed during the first 3 months of pregnancy. It is also not to be used during breast feeding.
